FAQ

Questions

What is CaseArena?

A training tool for case competitions. It writes realistic practice cases on demand and rates your team's deck against a jury-style rubric.

Is it free?

Yes, during the pilot. No account needed: pick your options and generate.

How realistic are the cases?

Every case follows the CaseArena playbook, which we built by taking apart 47 real competition cases: a CEO letter, a question with a numeric target, constraints, exhibits with hidden insights and traps, and an answer key. Companies are fictional. Exhibit totals and shares are calculated by the website, so they add up.

Which formats can I pick?

3, 6, 16 and 24 hours. Demo cases are compact, about 5 to 8 pages. The format sets the depth, the number of exhibits and the deliverable. Full-length booklets come with launch.

What does the deck feedback look at?

The six things juries score: answer first, storyline, analysis and numbers, recommendation and feasibility, creativity, and slide design. For our own cases it also checks whether you found the hidden insights.

Do you keep my deck or my cases?

No. Your PDF is read in your browser and sent to our AI model only to write your feedback. Your last case and score sheet are remembered in your own browser so they're still there when you come back. CaseArena has no database of your work.

Can our case club use it?

Yes. Pilot clubs get CaseArena free for the first months after launch. Join the club waitlist and we'll set you up.

How is this different from asking a chatbot for a case?

A chatbot writes a story. CaseArena designs the answer first, hides it across the exhibits, plants traps and gives your coach an answer key, so the case actually tests your analysis.

Can companies put real cases on CaseArena?

Soon. Firms and competition organisers can talk to us about hosting their own case.

About

Built by people who compete

CaseArena started in a case club. Members kept running into the same problem: too few good cases to practise on, and too few senior members with time to give feedback.

We're four students in Amsterdam building the training partner we wanted: unlimited realistic cases, scored the way juries score.
